Soy un defensor del Bosque y estoy luchando para recuperar nuestros bosques ancestrales que el gobierno del Peru nos ha robado en la amazonia atraves de un infame proceso irregular de consulta. Por esta razon nuestras comunidades estan padeciendo las miserias ocasionadas por la restriccion del acceso libre y sus usos tradicionales para la sobrevivencia a nuestros bosques.

Arlen Ribeira Calderón - Jitoma Ibaima (Sun and Fierce Guardian of the Amazon Rainforest) is a native Amazonian of the Huitoto people, who knows the Amazon rainforest well and its megadiversity. He is a strong defender of the righrs of the indÃgenous peoples to auto-determination and an untiring defender of their ancestral territories and the natural resources which form a part of the indigenous habitat, and he is a zealous guardian of the rainforest and the indigenous
peoples who are in voluntary isolation. He is an enemy of the oil companies, lumbermen and denounces the anti-indigenous operational policies of the World Bank, the Interamerican Development Bank and any form of institutionalized practices that violate the rights of the indigenous peoples.
